At Oakham Physiotherapy Clinic, we understand that visiting a physiotherapist for the first time can raise a few questions. To help you feel confident and well-informed, we’ve answered some of the most common queries our patients ask about appointments, payments, insurance, and what to expect during treatment. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

No. You can book directly with us either using online booking, or by contacting us through email or phone.

We are exploring linking Elavon to online booking with PPS as this is now possible in the newer versions. We still offer PayPal, and most major cards are accepted in the clinic (except American Express).

If paying electronically, please use the patient’s full name as the payment reference so we can track and reconcile your payment easily.

If using insurance, please contact the clinic to book, as online booking is only available for self-paying clients.

To bill your insurer directly, please bring your insurance details, including membership and claim number or authorisation code. Please inform us if you have a policy excess, as you may be asked to pay this at your first appointment.

For us to examine and treat you effectively, you may need to undress sufficiently so that we can see the problem area. Please bear this in mind when visiting us.
